September 16th, 2012 Why Jesus Came - Part 1 Bob Japenga
Scripture: Luke 4:40-44; Mark 1:1
There are many reasons given for why God became a man in the person of Jesus and came to earth. Over the next two weeks we will explore the reasons Jesus gave for His coming and how His reasons challenge all of our assumptions.
In Part 1 we will explore how Jesus came to preach the gospel of the Kingdom. We will look at:
What is the gospel?
Why was proclaiming the Kingdom of God good news to the first century Jews?

We had a major problem first service with the Power Point. Santiago received an annotated sermon which was almost word for word of what I said with each slide transition marked. He was not able to follow it and it was a major distraction for the congregation. We need a plan for helping him and anyone else doing tech team first service. Eric had no problems at all 2nd service with the same material.
